Albert Einstein once said, "Your imagination is a preview of life's coming attractions." Feelings are a powerful creative force, as the universe will deliver something to match the frequency of your feelings; whether the feelings are derived from a real situation or from daydreaming doesn't really matter.
This brings me to an interesting feeling that I experienced recently. I was tracking my fantasy football team's performance in the playoffs one night. As the NFL game came to an end, I was sure I had lost. I glanced down to see the final score on my phone and saw that somehow I had won by the smallest of margins! Apparently one team got just enough yards on one of the last plays to impact the scoring. While this was a rather meaningless event, it triggered the memory of a much stronger feeling I had over 30 years ago. To this day, I can still tap into the wonderment of that feeling.
I was wresting in the state tournament in a match that would determine who would go on to the championship match. I was up by one point with only a few seconds left. In a desperation move, my opponent threw me to my back from the standing position. I slowly rolled out of it and to my feet. I thought my opponent got two points for a takedown and I got one for an escape, which meant the match was all tied up and headed for overtime. I ran to the corner of the mat to consult with my coaches during the brief break before overtime started. My coaches looked at me like I was crazy, pointed to the center of the mat, and said, "Go shake hands!" Apparently, no points were awarded during that last throw since I rolled out of it! I was headed to the state championship, and I didn't even need to earn it in overtime. I HAD ALREADY WON!
This is a really fun feeling to tap into. What is going on behind the scenes in your life? What could you have possibly already won that you don't even know about? Let your mind wander with this for as long as it feels good. I'm not sure what will come of it, but it could be exciting. I can't state this any more clearly - VIBRATIONS REALLY WORK! Don't waste your time cussing reality for all the things that are going wrong. If you can't find something "real" and positive to focus on, create your own feelings. It is almost more fun to practice with a general feeling like I described because you don't really know to expect - you only know it will be fun and exciting! Let me know how this works out for you.
